Students awarded the MSc in Economics will have several alternative options:

1. They can continue their graduate studies in our two-year Master degree Laurea Magistrale in Economics and Finance. In this case, exams will count toward the fulfilment of the requirements of the Laurea Magistrale up to 40 ECTS;
2. They can continue their post-graduate studies abroad, by directly applying to an international Ph.D. program, whatever undergraduate/bachelor’s degree they held when entering the Master (including a 3-year degree). LUISS faculty will support successful students in the application to foreign programs;
3. They can continue their post-graduate studies in Italy. Six fellowships (tuition plus 10000 Euro stipend) awarded through a public competition will be available to enter the LUISS Ph.D. program in Economics. In this case a Laurea Magistrale (or the old 4-year Laurea, or an equivalent 4-year degree in the case of foreign students) is required.
